Pence has opposed same-sex marriage legislation, and has expressed support for federal funding to treat people "seeking to change their sexual behavior. Warren's comments come after Biden called Pence a "decent guy" last month in his remarks at the Forum in Global Leadership at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
During his speech, Biden was referencing how the international community reacted to Pence during a speech at the Munich Security Conference. Biden, considered a front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination even though he has yet to announce whether he will run, received backlash over his warm words for Pence from LGBTQ activist and former New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon.
